Charles David Viera has exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, Nassau County Museum, Adam Gimbel Gimbel Gallery, and the First St. Gallery in New York, the Artists’ Gallery and the Riverrun Riverrun Gallery in New Jersey as well as the New Hope Arts Center,A-Space in PA.  
 He has served on the Board of Directors for Artworks in Trenton ,and the exhibitions committee for the Arts Council of Princeton and has also curated and organized exhibitions for the Hunterdon Art Museum, Marymount Manhattan College ,the Arts Council of Princeton and Long Island University  where he was the Director of Exhibitions.
He has also juried numerous exhibitions for organizations including the Philadelphia Sketch Club and the New Jersey Water Color Society and served on the public grants committee for Somerset County NJ.
Viera  has taught painting and drawing at a variety of institutions, including the Brooklyn Museum Art School, Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute ,the New York Figurative Academy and Long Island University in NYC as well as the  Hunterdon Art Museum and Montclair Art Museum. He currently teaches  Painting and Drawing for adult students at the Arts Council of Princeton and beginner to advanced painting for adult students for the Readington Township.
